The Pharaohs march on to the semi-finals after a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Atlas Lions of Morocco in their AFCON quarter-final clash at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde. Today’s fixture schedule will see Egypt battle Morocco (which is the biggest tie of the quarter-finals and obviously our feature game), while the Teranga Lions of Senegal will take on Equatorial Guinea. In the first of two quarter-final fixtures played on Saturday, hosts Cameroon punched their way into the last-four courtesy of a brace from Olympique Lyonnais striker Toko Ekambi as they sealed a 2-0 win over the Gambia, while in the second match of the day, the Stallions of Burkina Faso took out the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia 1-0 to reach the semis.
