Newcastle United 3-3 Manchester City: Magpies & Cityzens SHARE Spoils in Six-Goal Thriller

Newcastle United and reigning Premier League champions Manchester City played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at St. James Park, in what proved to be a Premier League classic.

Pep Guardiola’s men got things started with an early goal from Ilkay Gundogan in the fifth minute, but the hosts turned it around as Miguel Almiron and Callum Wilson struck to make it 2-1 to Newcastle United.

The Magpies further extended their lead upon the resumption of the second half, courtesy of a sumptous free kick delivered by Kieran Trippier.

The Cityzens responded twice in quick succession with goals from Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva as both teams earned a credible point apiece.
