Catalan giants FC Barcelona secured their first victory in the 2022/2023 La Liga campaign with a 4-1 thumping of Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena on Sunday night.

Polish striker and summer signing Robert Lewandowski marked his birthday in style with a well-taken brace, while further efforts from Ousmane Dembele and super sub Ansu Fati ensured that Xavi Hernandez’s side returned to Catalonia with all three points. Alexander Isak netted the only goal for Real Sociedad in the opening period.
