Goal! Nottingham Forest 0-2 Man United
A dagger blow for Forest as Dalot scores his first Premier League goal!
It’s more terrific work from the electric Antony, who breezes past a number of red shirts before playing a perfect ball into the path of Dalot. The Italian full-back takes a touch before coolly slotting beyond Navas and into the bottom corner.
Second half
Back underway at the City Ground! The Forest fans are in great voice to try and will their side back into this. No changes from Cooper or Ten Hag at the interval.
Risky business perhaps from Forest given how open they have been in midfield. Eriksen and Fernandes dominating in that respect.
Half-time
A well played first 45!
Goal! Nottingham Forest 0-1 Man United
Felipe and Danilo get themselves into all sorts of bother outside their own box and the latter is dispossessed by Martial, with the Frenchman then played in by a brilliant ball from Fernandes.
Martial’s low shot is kept out smartly by Navas, but Antony is there to tap home the rebound under pressure from Lodi. That is Antony’s first Premier League goal since October. His 10th of the season in all competitions.
Kick Off!
Here we go!
Starting XI
Manchester United show three changes from the side that threw away a two-goal lead against Sevilla on Thursday, with the injured defensive trio of Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Tyrell Malacia replaced by Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Diogo Dalot.
Otherwise it’s as you were, with Casemiro back in Premier League action for the first time in more than a month after serving his four-game domestic suspension.
Marcel Sabitzer keeps his place in midfield after that Europa League double, so Christian Eriksen remains on the bench. For the second time in three days, Anthony Martial leads the line ahead of Wout Weghorst, flanked by Antony and Jadon Sancho.
No Luke Shaw or Scott McTominay in the squad, with youngsters Marc Jurado and Zidane Iqbal making the bench along with Brandon Williams. No Marcus Rashford again either, as expected.
