Tottenham Hotspurs 2-0 Chelsea: Skipp nets first goal for Spurs, Kane on target as Pressure mounts on Manager Graham Potter>>>

Chelsea’s fortunes took a turn for the worse on Super Sunday, as they capitulated to a 2-0 defeat away to Tottenham Hotspurs at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium in North London.

The hosts were dominant from the blast, with the Blues lacking ideas. The visitors thought things had taken a negative turn when Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech was handed a straight red card but following consultation with the VAR, Ziyech enjoyed a reprieve as his red card was turned to a yellow. The opening period ended goalless at the interval.

The second half kicked off with a bang as Oliver Skipp fired a screamer to net his first goal for Spurs while skipper on the day Harry Kane doubled their lead and made the points safe when he pounced at the back post from an Eric Dier flick-on.

The defeat further increases the pressure on beleaguered Chelsea gaffer Graham Potter who is on the brink of being axed.
