Brighton 2-1 Liverpool: Holders KNOCKED OUT of the FA Cup as Seagulls earn Comeback Win, Elliott’s Strike Wiped Out by Dunk & Mitoma

Defending champions Liverpool have been bundled out of the English FA Cup, following a 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in their fourth-round encounter which went down at the Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Harvey Elliott’s strike in the 30th minute gave Liverpool the lead albeit for a short while, as Tariq Lamptey’s effort deflected off Lewis Dunk to hand the hosts a deserved equalizer.

Kaoru Mitoma then struck late on to give Brighton a deserved victory and a place in the fifth round of the competition.
