Arsenal 3-2 Man United: Gunners leave it late to stun Red Devils in 5-goal thriller at the Emirates, Nketiah bags brace, Saka with a screamer >>>

Arsenal have extended their lead on the Premier League table by defeating Manchester United 3-2 at the Emirates in a 5-goal thriller.

Manchester United are the only team to have defeated Arsenal this season but they could not repeat that feat when they met in North London. Marcus Rashford put United in front but it was cancelled out by Eddie Nketiah.

Bukayo Saka put the Gunners in front with a screamer but Lisandro Martinez was on hand to equalise. Edward Nketiah sealed the deal at the death with a flick into the net past De Gea.

Starting XI

Erik ten Hag has backed his Manchester United side to cope without star midfielder Casemiro for their trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

Casemiro is out of the game at Emirates Stadium after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season during United’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Ten Hag is remaining upbeat ahead of the match with Arsenal, though, taking heart from United’s win over the Gunners back in September.
