Premier League table-toppers Arsenal have agreed a fee of £27 million pounds including add-ons with fellow top-flight outfit Brighton and Hove Albion for the transfer of Belgium international Leandro Trossard.

The Gunners entered talks to sign the Belgian forward after earlier missing out on their number one target Mykhailo Mudryk, who left Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk to fellow London rivals Chelsea.
It was inevitable that Trossard would head out the exit door at the Amex Stadium, having fallen out with manager Roberto de Zerbi – who questioned the player’s commitment.
The move would make Trossard Arsenal’s first signing of the January transfer window, as Edu looks to answer Mikel Arteta’s call for more firepower in his squad.
