West London giants Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement to sign Portugal international Joao Felix on loan from Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
A deal has not been signed yet but the Premier League side are expected to pay a fee of around €11m (£9.68m) for the 23 year-old, which is below what the Rojiblancos initially wanted.
There have been interest from Premier League sides such as Manchester United and Arsenal, but Felix has opted for Chelsea, as he been attracted and impressed by their project.
Felix will become the latest recruit to come in at Stamford Bridge, reports have it that more winter signings are set to come in through the door.
