Manchester United progressed into the fourth round of the English FA Cup, following a 3-1 win over Everton in their third-round clash, which went down at Old Trafford on Friday night.

The goals came quickly through Brazilian attacker Antony who converted Marcus Rashford’s cross home in the fourth minute, before Conor Coady responded for the visitors by capitalizing on goalkeeper David de Gea’s error to level matters.
Everton were dealt an early blow in the second period when midfielder Alex Iwobi suffered an ankle injury and had to be stretchered off, after a nasty challenge by Tyrell Malacia. Shortly after, the Red Devils were ahead as Conor Coady turned Marcus Rashford’s cross into his own net.
Marcus Rashford scored a late penalty for the Red Devils, after Alejandro Garnacho was fouled in the area. The victory sees Erik ten Hag’s side power into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
