Manchester United advanced into the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup), following a dominant 2-0 victory over Championship outfit Burnley at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The opening period was one of dominance from the Red Devils, and they duly went ahead through Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen who tucked home off an assist from Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The half finished with United in the lead.
The second half saw Erik ten Hag’s side ensure passage into the last-eight of the EFL Cup, after a brilliant solo effort from Marcus Rashford who struck in the 57th minute. Burnley threatened at intervals but to no avail as the Red Devils march on in the competition.
