History has been made as Morocco qualified for the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup after beating Portugal 1-0 in a thrilling quarter final encounter on Saturday.

A 42nd minute goal by En-Nesyri saw Morocco broke the record of becoming the first African country to ever reach the World Cup semi-final.

But they will have to first keep out a tough Portuguese side that scored six goals against Switzerland in the Round of 16 on Tuesday even without Ronaldo in the starting lineup.
Both teams met in the last World Cup in Russia where Portugal ran out 1-0 winners of that encounter.
Referee Facundo Tello (Argentina) is the man in the middle, Al Thumama Stadium is the venue, and 4 pm local time is the kick off.
