Argentina beat Poland 2-0 to top Group C and qualify for the Round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup taking place in Qatar.
Lionel Messi’s first half penalty was saved by Poland goalkeeper to ensure the first half ended on a barren draw.
But two second half goals from MacAllister and Julian Alvarez sail Argentina through to the next round ontop of the group.
Poland, despite their 2-0 loss to Argentina, also qualified on goal difference as Mexico’s 2-1 win over Saudi Arabia was not enough to see them finish runners up.
