The Three Lions of England bounced back from their boring draw against USA to beat Wales 3-0. Marcos Rashford was in the form of his life as he bagged a brace that took his goal tally at the 2022 World Cup to 3.
Phil Foden also found the back of the net in his first start for England in Qatar. The win means England are top of group b, as such, they will face Senegal in the round of 16.
USA also qualified to the next round with a lone goal victory over Iran. Christian Pulisic put everything on the line to secure all 3 points for the Americans. They would face the Netherlands in the round of 16.

Gareth Southgate has made changes to his side, with Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden and Jordan Henderson among those coming into the side, while Wales have no choice but to go for it and opt for a back four. Dan James returns to the side, with Gareth Bale and Kieffer Moore also in the front three.
Starting XI – Iran vs USA
Watch out for Azmoun and Taremi up front for Iran; they were fantastic against Wales and prompted a huge improvement in the performance from the one we saw against England.
USA have recalled Josh Sargent to the starting XI after he was on the bench against England. Their line-up is a touch more attacking, so everything is set up for a thriller at Al Thumama Stadium.
