Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored two second half goals to help Portugal beat Uruguay 2-0 and qualify for the Round of 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
After a barren first half, the second was more interesting and intense.

Fernandes broke the deadlock in the 54th minute before completing his brace via penalty eight minutes from time to see Portugal qualify for the knockout after two wins from two games.
