Richarlison was the star on the night as his two goals, both in the second half, sealed all three points and gives Brazil a flying start.
The star-studded Samba Boys struggled to find a breakthrough in the first half as they were well-contained by Serbia defence.
But two minutes after the hour mark, Richarlison’s strike from inside the 18-yard box beat goalkeeper Savic.
11 minutes later, Richarlison took advantage of a Vinicius Junior assist to complete his brace and put Brazil comfortably on top of the table.
