Success they say has many fathers. The saying could not be any truer as each member of the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia will be receiving a Rolls Royce Phantom, as a reward for defeating the Albiceleste of Argentina in their Group C encounter at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Tuesday.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by its monarch King Salman, had declared a public holiday for the citizens after the Green Falcons earned a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Argies. Lionel Messi had put the two-time world champions in front via a penalty before second half strikes from Salem Al Dawsari and Al Shehri secured the three points for Herve Renard’s side.
Saudi Arabia are known to open their hearts and purse strings to their World Cup goal-scorers. In their World Cup debut in 1994, they were 500-1 outsiders but they raised the bar at the big stage.
Against Belgium, striker Saeed Al-Owairan scored a goal that for long was considered the country’s best-ever goal after a sublime 70-yard run. Al-Owairan would later get a Rolls-Royce as a gift upon his return home.

Surely, at the home of Al Dawsari and Al Shehri, they would be upgrading their garages alongside their teammates as they welcome their latest additions to their car fleet.
