Manchester United Superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has hit the milestone of 500 million followers on popular picture sharing app, Instagram.
The Portugal point-man has become the first ever human to reach 500 million followers since Instagram was created in 2010. He is ahead of famous superstars like Dwayne Johnson, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner just to mention a few.
Meanwhile, his greatest rival, Lionel Messi, is trailing behind him with 376 million followers.
Recently, the 37-year-old has been enmeshed in controversies following his recent interview with Piers Morgan, saying his club betrayed him.
Several reports have it that Manchester United will likely terminate his contract with the club.
