James Maddison has England fans worried ahead of the World Cup with an apparent injury that forced him off against West Ham.
The Foxes star – who received a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad for this winter’s tournament in Qatar – went down at the London Stadium in the first half with an injury.
He then managed to get back of his feet and was then withdrawn with just 24 minutes on the clock.
The 25-year-old had opened the scoring against the Hammers to put his side 1-0 up inside eight minutes – a reminder of why he was selected for the Three Lions squad.
After Daka’s scuffed his attempt on goal, the ball fell perfectly to Maddison on the right, who sent the goal sailing into the roof of the net with a left-footed strike.
Club boss Brendan Rodgers and national coach Gareth Southgate will both hope it’s nothing serious.
