Aston Villa 3-1 Manchester United: Bailey, Digne & Ramsey give Emery winning start to life at Villa, Red Devils get Consolation through Ramsey Own Goal

Manchester United saw their push for the Top Four suffer a setback, as they were humbled 3-1 by Aston Villa at Villa Park.

The hosts were quick off the blocks as two goals from Leon Bailey and Lucas Digne in the opening eleven minutes saw Aston Villa put their noses in front.

Luke Shaw’s effort was deflected in by Jacob Ramsey as the Red Devils pulled one back, but Ramsey atoned for his earlier own goal with a fine effort in the 49th minute as new gaffer Unai Emery won his first match in what was his debut at Villa Park.
