Manchester United powered to a 3-0 victory in their UEFA Europa League group stage clash against Moldovan outfit Sheriff Tiraspol at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Diogo Dalot opened the scoring just before half-time with a header off a corner from Christian Eriksen. Second half substitute Marcus Rashford doubled their advantage in the 65th minute, as he headed home off a cross from Luke Shaw.
Finally, it was the turn of Cristiano Ronaldo to make the points safe, as he tucked home late on after his initial header was saved. The Red Devils are through to the knockout rounds of the UEL, but will face Spanish La Liga side Real Sociedad on Matchday Six in a clash that would see the winner claim top spot in the group.
