Manchester City bounced back from their defeat against Liverpool with a convincing 3-1 victory over Brighton at the Etihad Stadium.
Erling Haaland grabbed a brace making it 21 goals in 15 games for the Norwegian. Trossard was able to pull one back for the Seagulls but a Kevin de Bruyne sublime strike in the 75th minute snuffed every hope of a resurgence for Brighton.
Manchester City are now 1 point off the top of the table.

Starting XI
It’s Mahrez and Grealish given the nod by Guardiola in wide areas, either side of the main man Haaland. That means Foden has to settle for a place among the substitutes.
Akanji starts at right-back with Cancelo on the opposite flank, with Stones fit enough for the bench this afternoon.
