Chelsea Football Club made it back-to-back wins over AC Milan in their UEFA Champions League Matchday Four group stage clash, as they defeated the Italian side 2-0 at the San Siro Stadium on Tuesday night.

Both goals for the Blues came in the opening period. The first was a penalty which was converted by Jorginho, who was making his 200th appearance for Chelsea.

Prior to the spot-kick, former Blues defender Fikayo Tomori was sent off for stopping Mason Mount in the area in what the referee viewed as a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Graham Potter’s side went into the break two goals to the good through summer signing Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who found the back of the net off an assist from the impressive Mason Mount. Aubameyang has now made four goal contributions (3 goals, 1 assist) in his last four starts for the West London outfit.

The second half saw AC Milan try to prevent further damage, and although Chelsea were unable to add to their goals tally – they ultimately went home with the three points on the night.
