Omonia Nicosia 2-3 Manchester United: Super Subs Rashford & Martial on Target as Red Devils earn Comeback Win

Manchester United bounced back from their derby defeat over the weekend, as they recorded a come-from-behind 3-2 victory against Cypriot outfit Omonia Nicosia in the UEFA Europa League.

The visitors dominated but it was Omonia Nicosia who took a shock lead, when full-back Tyrell Malacia was robbed off the ball and Karim Ansarifard finished off a flowing counter attacking move.

United gaffer Erik ten Hag brought on Marcus Rashford at the start of the second half and the Englishman wasted no time, as his effort brought them level. Another second half substitute Anthony Martial also found the back of the net to give United the lead before Rashford struck home off a Cristiano Ronaldo assist to put some daylight on the scoreline.

The hosts were not done however as there was still time to net a consolation, but it was Manchester United who return to Old Trafford with the three points.
