Italy 1-0 England: Raspadori Screamer Condemns Three Lions to Defeat

The Azurri of Italy continued their recent dominance of England, as they triumphed 1-0 in their UEFA Nations League clash on Friday night.

There was nothing worthy to note in the opening period which ended goalless, but the second half saw the hosts put their noses in front through a sublime effort from Raspadori in the 68th minute.

Gareth Southgate’s men poured forward in search of the equalizer but the Azzurri held firm to cart away with all three points.

Italy coach Roberto Mancini has named Nico Barella, Brian Cristante and Jorginho in his line-up to face the Three Lions. Gianluca Scamacca will lead the attack lines for the Azzurri.
