Spain starlet Gavi has signed a new four-year contract extension with Catalan giants FC Barcelona.

The talented teenager has put pen to paper on a contract with the La Liga outfit which will see him remain at the Spotify Camp Nou until the summer of 2026 and a release clause of one billion Euros.
Speculation had surrounded Gavi’s future at the club, due to his current contract at Barca set to expire at the end of the 2022/2023 season. Had the player opted to run down his deal and move clubs next summer, he would have not only become the club’s third most valuable departure ever but undoubtedly the most significant free transfer since Lionel Messi left in the summer of 2021 to join Paris Saint-Germain.
