Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal for Brazilian international Casemiro from Spanish La Liga champions Real Madrid.

The Los Blancos midfielder had not originally been part of manager Erik Ten Hag’s plans, but following a summer in which the Red Devils have failed to lure primary targets such as Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona and Adrien Rabiot from Juventus, things have now taken a sensational turn at Old Trafford.
United are now edging closer in sealing the acquisition of Casemiro and are confident of completing a deal for the Real Madrid midfielder in the next couple of days.
The deal is said to be worth around £60 million pounds and Casemiro will pocket a weekly salary of £400,000 – double of what he currently earns at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Reports have it that all parties seem to be in favour of a summer move, though Madrid gaffer Carlo Ancelotti will give his signal after conversations with the player.
