Chelsea 2-2 Tottenham Hotspurs: Koulibaly & James net for Blues; Hojbjerg & Kane respond for Spurs as Conte and Tuchel are SENT OFF in feisty London Derby

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge in a London Derby.

Senegalese international Kalidou Koulibaly scored his first goal for the Blues when he connected with Marc Cucurella’s corner kick in the 19th minute. Chelsea went into the half-time interval holding the lead.

Tottenham Hotspurs equalized in the second half albeit through fortuitous circumstances. The Lilywhites capitalized when Jorginho gave away the ball in the area, before Ben Davies assisted Pierre Emile Hojbjerg.

The Blues went back in front through the impressive Reese James, as he put the ball away off an assist from Raheem Sterling before the ineffective Harry Kane struck late on to gift Spurs a share of the spoils.

There was drama during full-time as a post-game handshake between Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte turned awry, which resulted in both managers being sent off by the center referee.
