It’s official, Inter Milan have completed the release of Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez from his contract.
Sanchez joined Inter on a free transfer from Manchester United in the summer of 2020 and has made 109 appearances and scored 20 goals for the Blue and Blacks in the two years since, winning the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup once each.
Inter had one year left on his contract with Sanchez, which has now been terminated early. As previously reported, Sanchez will soon become a Marseille player and will be signed until June 2024.
According to Pasquale Guaro, a senior Inter correspondent for Football Market, Inter paid Sanchez €10 million for this termination, which includes the wages that had not been paid previously.
