Chelsea Football Club and fellow Premier League outfit Aston Villa have confirmed an agreement has been reached for the signing of Carney Chukwuemeka.
The 18-year-old, who had less than 12 months remaining on his contract at Villa Park, is now set to become the third summer signing for the Blues.
Chukwuemeka has now been given permission to travel to West London to discuss personal terms and then undergo a medical before being officially confirmed as a Chelsea player.
The highly-rated teenager has been heavily linked with a move away from Villa, esp in recent months because of his contract situation.
