RB Salzburg 1-0 Liverpool: First half effort from Benjamin Sesko Condemn Reds to Second Pre-Season Defeat

Liverpool Football Club succumbed to their second loss in pre-season, following a 1-0 defeat to Austrian Bundesliga side RB Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg on Wednesday night.

Benjamin Sesko was the star on the day as his first half strike in the 31st minute secured the win for the Austrian giants.

Liverpool were not entirely bad on the night but they could not take advantage of some decent opportunities that came their way, though the defence line of RB Salzburg held their own.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will take the lessons learned from this fixture in Austria, as they prepare for the 2022/2023 season curtain raiser against Manchester City in the FA Community Shield on Saturday.
