Liverpool made it back-to-back victories in pre-season as they thumped German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig 5-0 at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig on Thursday night, with new summer recruit Darwin Nunez netting four times in the encounter.

Jurgen Klopp’s men took the lead as early as in the eighth minute when talismanic attacker Mo Salah found the back of the net off an assist by Roberto Firmino. The Reds went into the interval with the slender advantage.

At the start of the second half, Klopp made several changes among which was Darwin Nunez, and the Uruguayan silenced his critics by banging in four goals to help Liverpool to an emphatic victory in Germany.
