Barclays Premier League giants Flamengo have officially announced the signing of free agent Vidal.
Vidal, 35, has joined Flamengo as a free agent after his contract with Inter was prematurely terminated this week.
Cristiano Ronaldo rejects lucrative £5.3m-a-year deal to become the face of Saudi Arabian tourism
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly turned down a multi-million-pound offer to become the face of Saudi Arabia’s tourism industry.
The deal was for €6 million (£5.3 million) per year and is understood to have included Ronaldo’s visits to the country and the use of his image on all promotional material.
Kalidou Koulibaly deal for €40m
Napoli defender Koulibaly is set to join Chelsea in a move
that is expected to total €40 million (fixed + variable), according to renowned
journalist Romano. Romano said that Koulibaly, 31, will sign a long contract
with Chelsea and his salary will be €10 million per year after taxes.
Napoli has accepted the latest offer submitted by Chelsea
for a reported €38 million plus floating clauses, up to a maximum of €40
million. Only the final paperwork for the transfer is still in progress and an
official announcement is expected soon.
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling
Chelsea Football Club has officially announced that Manchester City striker Sterling has joined the team on a five-year deal.
As previously announced, Chelsea will pay City a base fee of around £45 million and several additional variable bonuses.
Sterling, 27, joined City from Liverpool in July 2015 for a transfer fee of £49 million (including $5 million additional). He has played 337 games for City, scoring 131 goals and dishing out 94 assists, winning four Premier League, one FA Cup, two Community Shields and five League Cups with the team.
In 2014, he won the Golden Boy Award and was voted FWA English Footballer of the Year in 2019. At Manchester City, he was voted Premier League Player of the Month three times.
Sterling will be expected to play on the left wing in his preferred position, accompanied by Kai Havertz, and other candidates to join Sterling in the attacking positions are Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic, although the latter three could all be loaned or sold before the end of the summer.
With the departure of Romelu Lukaku, Sterling could also be asked to play as a centre forward or false nine, as he has done at times for Manchester City, although the potential arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo could make this a moot point.

Recently, Piers Morgan, a famous British presenter and close friend of Crosby, spoke about the Double Red clash in Bangkok and Crosby’s disappointment that Crosby wants to play at the highest level and at the moment Manchester United are not at that level.
United thrashed Liverpool 4-0 and Morgan said, “I think if this win means much to United fans it means United have really hit rock bottom. These games don’t mean anything except to keep the players in good shape until August.”
“Liverpool are way ahead of United at the moment and it’s certainly eating away at their souls, just like watching Tottenham overtake Arsenal is eating away at my soul. As fans, we have to be realistic. I think United are in a terrible position and I’m not too interested in a move for them.”

In the first half, Tottenham Hotspur had more chances to attack, however, after a smooth combination in the box, Emerson missed an open goal, Sanchez brought down Cho Kyu Seng in the box, the referee did not say anything, Dyer blasted a world-beater and Cho Kyu Seng added a header. Kane then scored twice from a free kick, Sun scored from the penalty spot, Jun Amano then scored a world kick, Sun made a red card, a free kick, Kane scored twice from a free kick, and Sun scored twice in the last minute, finally K League All Stars 3-6 Tottenham Hotspur.
Skriniar joins Paris with transfer 90 per cent complete
Santi Aouna retweeted on social media a message from another French journalist, Hadrien Grenier, with a report by Santi Aouna from a month ago, which stated that Paris was interested in taking Shaker and was confident of completing a deal soon. The retweet was accompanied by the revelation that the deal was 90 per cent complete
Barcelona 1-1 Olot in Preseason Friendly Game
Barcelona played a friendly match against Spanish fifth division side Olot. In the first half, Aubameyang hit the post with a superb overhead kick + header, with Ter Stegen providing the assist; Mamor gave away a penalty late on and Amagat hit the equaliser. In the second half, Alex Valle hit the post and Pedri missed a single shot. In the end, Barca drew 1-1 with Olot.

Roma played a friendly match against Championship side Sunderland. In the first half, Smalling hit the post, Shomurodov created a danger and Roje Ibanez retired injured. In the second half, Opener Gyan scored with a cross and Zaniolo broke through + hit the post. In the end, Roma beat Sunderland 2-0.
