
West London outfit Chelsea Football Club have confirmed the acquisition of Raheem Sterling from fellow Premier League campaigners Manchester City.
Sterling has signed a five-year contract with an option for an extra season. Wages over £300k-a-week. Man City will get £47.5m for selling the England international
The 27-year-old England international becomes the latest addition to manager Thomas Tuchel’s side, as they bid to challenge for honours on all fronts this season.
The England international, who signed for City in 2015 from Liverpool for around £50m, scored 131 goals in 339 matches in all competitions for the Manchester-based club. He will become the first marquee signing of the Todd Boehly/Clearlake Capital era at Chelsea.
