Switzerland got their UEFA Nations League campaign back on track with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over visiting Portugal on Sunday night.

The Swiss needed a positive result after losing their opening three matches, and Seferovic’s second minute goal was more than enough for Murat Yakin’s side to inflict a first defeat in the group stages to the Selecao, who were without skipper Cristiano Ronaldo..

In our second feature game of the night, Spain made it back-to-back victories in the group as they saw off the Czech Republic 2-0 in Malaga.

Goals in either halves from Carlos Soler and Pablo Sarabia were all Luis Enrique’s men needed to eke out all three points on offer.
