European heavyweights France remain winless in the UEFA Nations League, after battling to a 1-1 draw away to a resilient Austrian side on Friday night.

Weimann netted his first international goal to give the hosts the lead in the 37th minute, but second half substitutes Christopher Nkunku and Kylian Mbappe both combined to level things for Les Blues.

The result means that defending champions France are still without a win in the 2022/2023 UEFA Nations League campaign after three matches. Didier Deschamps side have just two points from their opening three group games.
