Starting XI

Gareth Southgate’s side fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Hungary in their opening match on Saturday and with less than six months to go until the 2022 World Cup gets underway, the England boss will be desperate for his side to find some form again.

There are just five matches to go until England get their World Cup underway against on Iran on November 21.

The Three Lions face a Germany side they beat at Euro 2020 last summer, but since then Die Mannschaft are unbeaten in ten matches and they earned a 1-1 draw against Italy in their last match.

It’s a quick turnaround from the baking conditions of Budapest and with two more matches to come in the next week, there is likely to be plenty of changes from Southgate.
