Portugal notched their first win in the UEFA Nations League, following a comprehensive 4-0 whitewash over Switzerland while Spain could only manage a 2-2 draw away at the Czech Republic.
The Selecao got the job done with in the opening 45 minutes, as they raced into a 3-0 lead courtesy of goals from William Carvalho and a brace from skipper Cristiano Ronaldo.
The second half saw Portugal continue their dominance and they were rewarded with a fourth goal by Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo. The game eventually ended 4-0 and the result puts the Selecao at the top of their group.
In our second fixture for the night, Spain came from behind TWICE to earn a 2-2 draw away at Czech Republic. The Red Fury had Gavi and Inigo Martinez who ensured they grabbed a share of the spoils after the hosts had gone ahead in both halves.
