Italy 1-1 Germany: Joshua Kimmich cancels out Lorenzo Pellegrini’s goal to tie the game

Italy and Germany settled for a 1-1 draw after a tightly contested Nations League encounter. Lorenzo Pellegrini stunned in the Germans in the 70th minute with a well taken goal. But it took just minutes for Joshua Kimmich to equalise with a wonderful strike.

Pellegrini scores! No fear from the 18-year-old, as he runs at Kehrer down the right and powers a glorious cross across the face of goal, which Pellegrini can tap home from close range!

Half-time is called bang on 45 minutes, with Italy probably the happier of the two sides.

Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry have had chances, but Italy have looked dangerous when winning the ball high up the pitches.

The European Champions came up short in the Finalissima at the weekend, and have made plenty of changes for today’s game.
