The 2021/22 season is over and we saw players score unbelievable goals! The judges for this year’s Puskas have their work cut out for them because we at Apex Football had a very difficult time picking and ranking these goals!
10. Rudiger vs Brentford
Chelsea succumbed to a heavy 4-1 defeat but Antonio Rudiger’s goal was the standout of the day. Rudiger stormed forward and had a go from 40 yards. He made perfect contact as his effort clipped off the post and into the net.
9. Holzmann vs Mainz
Gerrit Holtmann scored a crazy solo goal against Mainz in a Bundesliga match. He managed to get past at least 4 opponents before putting the ball between Mainz’s keeper’s legs.
8. Garuccio vs Western Sydney
Ben Garuccio scored a stunning scorpion kick in a 3-2 over the Western Sydney Wanderers as Western United extended their lead at the top of the A-League. Garuccio scored twice in the contest, with his outrageous second in the 68th minute ultimately proving to be the winner.
7. Ronaldo vs Spurs
Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, picked up the ball 35 yards out, took two touches to steady himself and smashed home a beauty of a strike from distance, as Old Trafford erupted. Ronaldo ended up with a hattrick in that game.
6. Pedri vs Sevilla
Pedri provided a moment of magic for Barcelona as the Spanish starlet scored a stunning goal against Sevilla. The young Barca star scored the lone goal in his side’s league victory, netting in the 72nd minute to seal the win for the Catalan club.
5. Salah vs Watford
The Liverpool No.11 provided the highlight of a comprehensive win for his side at Vicarage Road when he produced another stunning solo goal in the second half. Salah’s intricate, instinctive dribbling took him past three or four opposition defenders in the box before he cut back onto his left foot and sweetly curled home.
4. Khazri vs Metz
Saint-Etienne midfielder, Wahbi Khazri, scored a spectacular strike measured at 68 metres. Khazri dribbled upfield after retrieving the ball inside his own penalty area and hammered it over the backpedalling Alexandre Oukidja for his fourth goal in four games, and seventh of the season.

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski showcased why he remains one of the best strikers in world football by scoring a sensational goal against Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Champions League.
2. Vinicius vs Manchester City
Madrid winger Vinicius received the ball inside his half on the left wing and ran past the defenders at breakneck speed to score a brilliant solo goal. The highlight of that run was surely the no-touch dummy nutmeg that the Brazilian embarrassingly inflicted on City midfielder Fernandinho as he started his run.
1 Salah vs Manchester City
Mo Salah’s incredible goal vs Manchester City is number 1 on our list. Regardless of what was at stake in that particular game, Salah managed to find the composure to dribble through the City defence before slotting home.
