France superstar Kylian Mbappe was the centre of attraction on Saturday night, as he netted a hat-trick of goals to help French Ligue 1 champions PSG to a resounding 5-0 win against visiting Metz at the Parc des Princes as the 2021/2022 season came to an end.

The 23 year-old who had been widely touted to join Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid in the summer, marked his three-year contract renewal with the capital side by finding the back of the net in the 25th minute, in the 28th minute and in the 50th minute as Les Parisiens earned a huge victory in front of their fans.
The game was also the final appearance for Argentine winger and legend Angel Di Maria – who will be leaving the club, and he made the most use of the match as he scored PSG’s fifth goal of the night. Brazilian star Neymar was also on the scoresheet as well – netting his 100th goal for the club since his arrival.
The victory meant that Paris Saint-Germain bade Argentine legend Ángel Di María the perfect farewell, while ten-man FC Metz have been relegated to the second-tier of French football in 2022/2023 Season. ‘Les Parisiens’ conclude their home form this season by going unbeaten in all 19 league games at the Parc des Princes.
It is safe to say that PSG will get to enjoy the best from Kylian Mbappe in the years to come, after the youngster committed his future to the club.
