The final game-week of the 2021/2022 English Premier League season lived up to the hype and the excitement as all ten fixtures took place simultaneously, with Tottenham Hotspurs grabbing the last UEFA Champions League slot after hammering Norwich City 5-0 at Carrow Road.
The Lilywhites went in front in the first half through Dejan KUlusevski before Harry Kane doubled the advantage for Spurs. The floodgates of goals continued in the second half as Son Heung-Min scored a brace either side of Dejan Kulusevski’s strike to help Antonio Conte’s men secure Champions League football for next season.

In our other simultaneous fixture, Arsenal romped to a comprehensive 5-1 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium. Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah, Cedric Soares, Gabriel and Martin Odegaard all netted for the Gunners but it was insufficient as they missed out on UCL football for next season after rivals Tottenham Hotspurs secured the remaining spot.
