The Premier League have announced that Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Player of the Month award for April after the month saw him net five goals in four appearances.
It is the second time this season that the veteran forward has claimed the award and the sixth time he has done so in his career.
Ronaldo joined the Premier League 100 goals club in April with a striker at Arsenal, while netting a hat-trick in a 3-2 win over Norwich and also adding another against Chelsea.
He is now just one behind Sergio Agüero and Harry Kane’s record of seven Player of the Month awards.
