Star striker Erling Haaland hit the ground running during training on Tuesday just as Manchester City announced a deal for the transfer of the Borussia Dortmund star.
Haaland is one of the most sought-after players in Europe and Pep Guardiola’s team managed to acquire the services of the 21-year-old in what is one of the most significant deals of the year. The Norwegian international will move to the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

“Manchester City can confirm we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the club on 1st July 2022,” the club said in a statement.
“The transfer remains subject to the club finalising terms with the player.”

Haaland’s value has skyrocketed thanks to his prolific form at Dortmund after joining them from Austrian side Salzburg two years ago.
