It was a tough game for the Catalans as all their back four got injured within 20 mins with Dani Alves and Ronald Araujo substituted. But that did not deter them from grinding out the win and seeing off Real Sociedad.
Xavi’s men are now in second position with a game in hand but 15 points behind league leaders Real Madrid.
