The home fans seem not to be happy with Lionel Messi and Neymar most probably due to their no-show in Europe during PSG’s 3-2 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid in midweek, which led to their ouster from this season’s UEFA Champions League.

PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino has named a strong side this afternoon with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi leading the attack, while Gigi Donnarumma has been replaced in goal by Keylor Navas.

PSG will need to respond well against Bordeaux this afternoon even though a win may not necessarily appease the fans who will have to wait another year for the UCL – which is now the Holy Grail.

The French capital outfit endured another embarrassing night in Europe as they exited the UEFA Champions League 3-2 on aggregate to record-winners Real Madrid in midweek. PSG had taken a slender 1-0 lead from the first leg into the return clash at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and even took the lead through Kylian Mbappe, only for them to capitulate later on as Karim Benzema’s hat-trick saw Los Blancos punch their ticket into the quarter-finals at the expense of the French side.

Good afternoon and you are on to Apex Football’s LIVE update of the French Ligue 1 fixture between league leaders and defending champion PSG and Girondins Bordeaux at the Parc des Princes Stadium in Paris.
