The Poland star needed just 12 minutes to get his name on the scoresheet, converting a penalty to put his side up 1-0 on the night and 2-1 on aggregate.
And nine minutes later he was on target again from the spot, before completing his hat-trick within a mere 120 seconds of returning to the centre-circle.
In total Lewandowski needed just 23 minutes from kick-off to reach three, making Champions League history.

Bayern Munich entertain Salzburg in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie later today.
The opening clash finished 1-1 in Austria , with Salzburg leading for much of the match before Kingsley Coman struck a 90th-minute equaliser to give Bayern the edge going into the deciding fixture at the Allianz Arena
Bayern are the third favourites to win the Champions League this season, behind only Manchester City and Liverpool, and will be confident of booking their place in the last eight this evening.
