Former France international Franck Ribery was taken to hospital, after being involved in a car accident on Sunday.

The 38 year-old former Bayern Munich star who currently plies his trade for Italian Serie A outfit Salernitana, was rushed to hospital with a head injury in the early hours of Sunday after being involved in a car crash.
According to reports, the Frenchman was a passenger in the car he was in when the accident took place.
Also, his club Salernitana have confirmed in a statement that he will miss training while he recovers from injuries sustained in the crash.
Ribery has so far featured 16 times in Serie A this season for Salernitana and notched two assists, with his most recent match being the 1-1 draw with Bologna last weekend where he played for 71 minutes.
He looks likely to miss his team’s Serie A fixtures against defending champions Inter Milan on March 4th, followed by games against Sassuolo on March 12th and against giants Juventus on March 20th.
