FT: Nantes 3-1 PSG, Canaries rip Messi & Neymar’s PSG apart

Nantes completely destroys a PSG team comprised of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe!

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were fresh from a dramatic late Champions League win against Real Madrid in midweek, in which Kylian Mbappe secured his side’s third consecutive win in all competitions with a 94th-minute deadlock-breaker.

Les Parisiens had won five of their previous seven in the league, sitting 13 points clear at the summit, but faced a tough test away at Nantes, who had won two of their last three Ligue 1 fixtures and are well in the race for European qualification.

Randal Muani was at the end of Moses Simon pass which gave Nantes the lead in the 4th minute. Quentin Merlin doubled Nante’s lead in the 16th minute before Ludovic Blad made it 3 in the 45th minute.

PSG pulled and pushed in the second half but they could not come from behind. Neymar was able to pull one back but could not double that from the penalty box.

  1. My goodness! The home side had absolute dominance of the game specially in the first half. I am waiting for them to be humiliated by Madrid in Bernabeau.
