Many thanks for being with us tonight on our double-header match coverage in the Premier League and the Coppa Italia quarter-finals, see you again soon. Bye!
In our second feature game of the evening, Inter Milan put the pain of last weekend’s Milan Derby defeat behind them, as they saw off Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma 2-0 in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez. The Nerazzurri are into the semi-finals of the Italian Cup.
The draw for Sean Dyche’s men means they have now recorded 11 PL draws this season, as they remain bottom and four points from safety. On the other hand, United have now recorded their fourth draw in six away PL games.
Manchester United’s inconsistent run of results continues as they are held to a 1-1 draw by a resilient Burnley side at Turf Moor. The Clarets will take confidence in this result as they continue their fight against relegation. The Red Devils on the other hand must put a stop to their unimpressive run of results, which could ultimately harm their chances of playing Champions League football next term.

Elsewhere, league leaders Inter Milan will welcome AS Roma to the San Siro Stadium for their Coppa Italia quarter-final clash. Both sides are in need of a win following their not too impressive results last weekend. United boss Ralf Rangnick has left out Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench, while Uruguayan international Edinson Cavani makes a rare start. French midfielder Paul Pogba is back in the starting line-up, following a spell on the sidelines.
